CEO AMERICAN STAR - MS. LY TU ANH ATTENDED ASIA-PACIFIC NATION NETWORK OF WOMEN ENGINEERS AND SCIENTISTS 2020 (INWES-APNN)

On October 24 & 25, 2020, CEO of American Star International Transport Trading Co., Ltd. - Ms. Ly Tu Anh - Member of The Intellectual Women's Association of Ho Chi Minh City attended the Video Confference of Asia-Pacific Nation Network of Women Engineers and Scientists 2020 (APNN) and IConWiST Conference at HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The conference was attended by Pro.-Ph.D Phan Thi Tuoi - Vice President of Vietnam The Intellectual Women's Association, Assoc.-Ph.D Truong Thi Hien - President of The Intellectual Women's Association of Ho Chi Minh City and nearly 40 members come from branches.

APNN (Asia & Pacific Nation Network) is the Asia-Pacific Network of Female Scientists established in 2011 under the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists - INWES). Up to now, APNN has 13 participating countries and territories. APNN member of Vietnam is The Vietnam Intellectual Women's Association, joined since 2013.

This year's APNN Annual Meeting was held in Taipei City, Taiwan with the programs: Women's Union of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The conference attracted 380 delegates from many countries around the world.

In 2 days, 29 reports of scientists from 17 countries and territories were presented at the Conference, in parallel with 3 seminars with the topics: “Gender Perspectives for sustainability”, “Gendered Innovations in STEM” and “Gender Perspectives in STEM education”. The Vietnam Women's Intellectual Association has also issued an important report highlighting the Association's development and scientific research activities in the past year.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Chia Li Wu, the current President of APNN announced and carried out the symbolic procedures to transfer the title of APNN President for the period 2021-2023 to Mongolia.
